About Us

Olympus News is a student-initiated program in Bina Bangsa School PIK, founded during 2021, the Covid-19 season.

Our organisation serves as a platform where both global and national news are delivered weekly in an engaging manner by long-form and short-form videos, or digital newspapers suitable to the school body to enjoy while still maintaining professionalism at appropriate times.

Our diverse set of divisons allow members to have a clear focus on what skills they plan to develop here.

Divisions—commonly known as committees, are a categorised department of members by delegation of work. We have 5 distinct divisions. Some divisions may lead workshop sessions.

What is your main communication platform?

Discord is where we broadcast announcements, assignments for the week and hold online meetings such as workshops for certain divisions.

When do applications open/close?

You can check the Applications section on this website. It will be updated once applications are opened/closed. The dates when we open applications vary from academic years.
